The evening will begin with an illustrated talk on ghost villages, a story which incorporates haunted islands, weird MOD land, the UKs little-known second royal family, Dr Who, ladybird plagues, drowned villages and a haunted cupboard.
There will be a short break for cake, cigarettes and gay banter then, in the second half, I'll be sharing my passion for some of the world's greatest postal pranks, with particular focus on Victorian trickster Reginald Bray who, over his lifetime, posted over 30,000 singular items through the newly formed Royal Mail.
